The hottest guy celebrity this year is, Justin Bieber which is 16 years old. The hottest celebrity girl is Selena Gomez which is 18 years old. I’m a really big fan of Justin Bieber, not only because he is hot, but because he has an amazing voice! Ever since Selena Gomez began her career I’ve never liked her as an actress and now even less. The reason why now I dislike her even more is because she is dating Justin Bieber! I mean she is older than him for two years, besides I’m sure I’m not the only fan who disagrees, I’m sure many of his fans do too, but also Justin’s mom since she thinks this will ruin his career.  

Justin Bieber became famous 2009-2010 and he became known thanks to Usher because he saw Justin’s videos in YouTube, and thought that he could have a bright future in Hollywood. The song that made him rise to fame was Baby ft. Ludacris. Not only did girls go crazy after hearing and seeing his music video, but even the guys memorized his song. Justin has been criticized since the day he entered Hollywood, for his “girl” voice, but he’s learned to never listen to the haters. Overall Justin Bieber isn’t my only favorite celebrity/ singer, I have much more, but for this blog I chose to write about him. J

No school for two week before winter vacation.

Although having an extremely long winter vacation, because of the rain disasters we had here in Venezuela, it didn’t seem as long as it sounds. Because of the rain we had almost two weeks more than usual without school, but unluckily us high scholars had to take the finals when not having time to review with teachers.  Those two weeks off all of us freshmen were in each other’s houses studding for tests, skyping with each other to finish the homework, or doing something related to school. It was almost like being “homeschooled”.

When we came back from vacations, all the teachers started comparing the winter and summer vacations since they never both last the same amount of time. So since we had extra vacations, now we will have to make up the time missed and instead of Wednesdays ending at 2:00pm some will end at 3:30pm. I think this is unfair, since it’s not like those two weeks we were in vacations because we still had to finish tons of homework online, go visit the teachers for help, and have the finals. Worst of all the Carnival holiday has been rearranged, instead of being on February 7^th it’s  going to be on May which sucks since it won’t be almost in two weeks but in like 5!

In school, there is a friend that understands me more than anybody can, even when I can’t even understand myself, I know she can! The reason why I know this is because she has gone through the majority of what I’ve gone through and knows how to handle it more than anybody else.  She is someone that is always happy, hyper, and looks at life with a different perspective. She is someone that doesn’t care about what people thinks about her, and stands up for who she is. Although this is the first year I’ve actually spent more time with, and become closer friends with, she has taught me many things I’m glad I’ve learned.

Every time I have to make a decision, she helps me through it, every time I’m heartbroken she knows exactly what to say or do, and every time I’m sad or dull she knows exactly how to turn my world around. I remember not so long ago, I was really sad for some stupid boy, that wasn’t even worth it; she helped me, not only get over him, but forget about him completely, that same week she asked me “Ale do you want to come to my house, eat a bunch of chocolates, watch a movie and talk about how stupid boy are?” just hearing that from her, made me feel that she actually cared about me and knew how to handle perfectly those kinds of stuff. 

Winter/Christmas Vacation Blog

Throughout my whole life, I’ve spent all my winter vacations with family, either in Venezuela or another country. This year 2010-2011, my family and I decided to go on a cruise not only for Christmas, but also to celebrate my grandparents 50 anniversary and my fifteenth birthday. This time, my entire family was completely together, my uncles and cousins from Canada, and my grandparents, uncles, and cousin from here Venezuela.  The cruise we made went throughout the Caribbean and lasted a week, and the following week we went to Orlando.

In the cruise, we stopped by many islands and countries like, Belize, Mexico/ Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Costa Maya. In every country or island we stepped on, we learned a little bit about their history. In the cruise there were many activities available like, ice skating, surfing, wall climbing, karaoke booth, competitions, theater, shopping, and free time. In the first formal dinner night, we celebrated my grandparent 50 anniversary which was the second cruise night, and on the 24 of December, which was another formal night, we celebrated my fifteenth birthday, and later that night Christmas Eve. That was a very memorable night that will be present throughout my entire life.
